Who is it for?
Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) to train parents who are undertaking regular therapy activities, in partnership with a therapist.
What is included?
Eight videos of Therapists-delivered, professionally recorded webinars, handouts, parent quizzes, answers, course evaluation forms and trainer and trainee course manuals.
Content of the In-depth Parent Training Course
How does it work?
Group training can be delivered face-to-face or through a hybrid online shortened version. The face-to-face option can be delivered over 4 half days. The hybrid version consists of 5 parent self-directed asynchronous webinars, two live online webinars led by an SLT and a question-and-answer session with the therapist. Once parents are trained, they can undertake therapy activities under the supervision of a therapist.
